Skinny Rice
Low Calories Rice
I found out about Eat Water Slim Rice when I was shopping at Holland and Barrett for other products to make dieting easy. It was pretty cheap and was advertised as having only very few calories in the whole pack, so I thought I'd see what it was all about. I mainly use it for my fasting days when I'm doing the 5:2 diet. The main thing I was struggling with was feeling satisfied in the evening after a smaller dinner. The Eat Water Slim Rice really helped the bulk out these low calorie meals so that I didn't feel like I had to snack thorough the rest of the evening like I did before.
The meals it worked really well with was chilli con carne with lean mince, chicken curry and veggie chicken fried rice. It really easy to prepare as well - you just need to drain and rinse the rice (make sure you do this or is does smell a bit fishy!), put it in the bowl or plate you are planning to serve your dinner up in and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Serve your curry/chilli/etc. on top of the rice and save on washing up too!
The Eat Water Slim Rice itself doesn't taste of very much and it is a much softer texture to regular rice, but it does the job well.
I haven't tried them yet, but they also do Eat Water Slim Noodles and Eat Water Slim Pasta, which I think would be a good way to vary your dinners a bit more. Having only been doing the 5:2 diet, I haven't worried too much about the variation as it is only for two days a week.
I have also found that the Eat Water Slim Rice and detox tea works well together to lose weight, though I would only recommend taking the tea in addition to the skinny rice if you don't have a sensitive stomach and only for around a week at a time. The effects of the tea tend to build up a bit too much after taking it for much longer.
I did look at Eat Water's recommended recipes but I found that these were reasonably high calorie meals considering the product has hardly any calories in itself.
All in all, Eat Water Slim Rice is a great substitute to help make a diet easier and really simple to put together with the rest of family's for the least inconvenience possible.
